Google has been consistently trying make Android mobile operating more secure than ever with new updates. However, the hackers continue to stay a step forward and now claim to have found a new loop hole. Charlie Miller, security consultant with Accuvant, noted at the Black Hat hacking conference that Android smartphone's Near Field Communication and Chrome browser for Android can be exploited to take control of the device.

India Post Offers Money-Order Services via Mobile

With Raksha Bandhan just around the corner, many brothers who are away from home are probably looking for a convenient way to send money to their sisters. Common with people of the older generation, money orders have been a popular, albeit slow way to send small amounts of money in a secure manner.

To make the entire process easier and faster, the postal department has decided to go tech-savvy, tying up with BSNL for a mobile remittance scheme, which will come into force in a few days from now. Chief Postmaster General (Kerala Circle) Shoba Koshy said that in its first phase, this service will be available in Kerala, Bihar, New Delhi, and Punjab.

NSA Chief Asks Hackers at Defcon for Help Securing Cyberspace


National Security Agency Director General Keith B. Alexander addressed the attendees of the Defcon hacker conference in Las Vegas on Friday and asked for their help to secure cyberspace.

"This is the world's best cybersecurity community," said Gen. Alexander, who also heads the U.S. Cyber Command. "In this room right here is the talent our nation needs to secure cyberspace."

Samsung launches 32GB Galaxy S III in India for Rs. 41,500

 The 32GB variant of the Samsung Galaxy S III is now available in India at Rs. 41,500 via Samsung's eStore. Uptil now, only the 16GB variant of the device was available in the country. The 16GB S III was launched at Rs. 42,500, but is now available for Rs. 38,400 in the market.
