Uninor Launches Ek Bharat, Ek Rate Plan - Local and STD Calls at 25p

This monsoon it’s raining more than just heavy spells in Mumbai. Uninor is now giving Mumbaikars the chance to enjoy one of the best cheapest prepaid plan offers in the city with the launch of its Special Tariff Voucher – STV 49 ‘Ek Bharat, Ek Rate’ plan providing uniform tariff for local and STD calls at 25p/min.

LG Optimus 4X HD and L5 to be Launched in India Next Week

LG is preparing to launch its first quad core smartphone - Optimus 4X HD with 720p HD display in India.

LG will launch two new smartphones running Google Android mobile operating system in India next week. LG India is expected to launch the new Optimus L5 and Optimus 4X HD smartphones with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update. The Optimus L5 is a mid-range device in the L series and it makes the welcome transition to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS). It also features a 4-inch screen, advertized to offer “enhanced readability” which should hint to a decent resolution while Optimus 4X HD is a high end device with a 720p HD display. The company already offers Optimus L7 and L3 in India.
