Great news for Reliance users, Reliance Mobile partnered with Bigflix Movies to offer Premium movies at just Rs.30 per month ans also there would be no additional data costs as price include streaming for Video On Demand (VOD).

For using this service, Reliance subscribers have to log on to http://vod.rcom.co.in, using their mobile phones or Tablets. Once there, you can access the movie catalogue (powered by BigFlix) and choose the movie you want to watch. Tablet with Sim Card Option and Rich Features for only 2200? Fake?

The tablet prices are tumbling… Literally every second week, we hear a new cheap / budget tablet is launched with price tag ranging from Rs. 4k to Rs. 8k.
Currently, the cheapest tablet in the market – Ubislate (the commercial version of Aakash) – has set the benchmark for lowest price tag on a tablet with a pricing of approx. Rs. 2999/-. However, with that kind of pricing, Ubislate comes with not so flattering specs, namely a CPU being around 800 mHz, lowly 256 mb ram, a resistive touch screen and 3000 mAH battery.
Today I came across a tablet which really surprised me.
A tablet called Angelpad, which boasts of top-of-the-line specs like 1.5 GHz processor, 7 inch capacitive display, 1GB DDR3 Ram, multi-touch screen, 32 GB space, Bluetooth 4.0 has been priced at only USD 40. At current rupee conversion rate, that translates to only about Rs. 2200. The most surprising aspect of this tablet is that it even has a SIM Card facility.

File Sharing Sites to be blocked again!!;(

LegallyIndia recently shared that Viacom18 has received John Doe order from Mumbai High Court for its upcoming movie Gangs of Wasseypur which is going to start screening in the country later this week. With John Doe in hands, Viacom18 can direct all ISPs to block certain filesharing sites and video portals in their sense to prevent piracy of the movie.

It isn’t the first time that movie studios are misusing this law, last year Reliance Entertainment had blocked file sharing sites like Rapidshare, Mediafire, etc. a day before Singham was released.

Microsoft Surface - Tablet with Windows 8 OS

Microsoft unveiled a new tablet computer, Surface, that attempts to take advantage of one of the few criticisms of Apple's iPad that it is better for consuming content than creating it.

The software maker said Monday that its device will attach to a removable rubberized keyboard that also acts like a book cover. CEO Steve Ballmer said Surface will be an entertainment device ``without compromising the productivity that PCs are uniquely known for.''

Microsoft Corp.'s broadside against the iPad is a dramatic step to ensure that its Windows software plays a major role in the increasingly important mobile computing market.
