Samsung Omnia M available in India via Snapdeal at Rs. 17,990
Samsung's Windows Phone 7.5-based Omnia M smartphone is now available in India via online shopping site Snapdeal. The Samsung Omnia M has been priced at Rs. 17,990.
Samsung had unveiled the Omnia M in May this year and is supposed to take on Nokia's Windows Phone-based Lumia phones. The design of the Omnia M is reminiscent of its predecessor, the Omnia 7, except that the Omnia M does not have physical Windows home button. There's no word on whether the Omnia M will be updated to the latest Windows Phone 8 OS.

Nokia Lumias outshipped iPhone, Samsung Android phones through First Three Quarters
Don’t think too much into the significance of this report currently going around the web, as nice as it looks and all.
It shows that comparisons of first three quarters of Nokia lumia, iPhone and Samsung Androids.
Interestingly (and more worryingly if it didn’t happen) there are more Lumias in the first three quarters than iPhone. With an increase in overall market size, you would expect that to happen (though cannot take that for granted either). What surprised me more is that Samsung Droid did not exceed the older iPhone.

New Gadget that Lets You Manage Car Controls
Researchers have come up with a new gadget that is looking at changing the way one drives, altogether. So now imagine controlling a handful of your car's functions by nodding and winking! As much as it will take you by surprise, it is one technology that will pique the interests of many. As per a report by The Daily Mail, this technology essentially involves an infrared sensor mounted on the dashboard of the car, which recognises the expressions of the driver and controls the car accordingly. Inside the car is a computer, which translates the gestures to a corresponding list of commands for the radio, Sat Nav, heating and mobile phone. At the moment, the gestures are under testing before they are deployed. Researchers are testing a basic set of gestures, which could be rolled out uniformly across the globe.
