Windows 8 To Arrive in October

Computers running on the next version of Microsoft's Windows operating system "Windows 8" will go on sale in October.

Microsoft announced the time frame for Windows 8's mass-market release Monday in Toronto. A specific sales date in October wasn't provided.Most industry analysts expected Windows 8 would go on sale in the fall to ensure that the machines running on the operating system would be available for the holiday shopping season. Consumers and businesses who don't want to buy new computers will be able to buy Windows 8 and upgrade their systems.

Google Now ported to Android 4.0 ICS

XDA Developer has stated in a blog post that Google Now can be ported to Andorid 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

Google announed Google Now at Google I/O 2012 for Android 4.1 JellyBean and fortunately, XDA Developer febycv has figured out a way around this. modifying the ‘build.prop‘ allows users currently running an older version of Android to have access to Google Now as well as Google’s Privacy intrusions. XDA Forum Member dave7802 also noted that there was a modified version of the app available that didn’t require editing the build.prop.

Open RAR Files Without Software

To compress files and folders you need to use any archiving utility such as Winrar, to create a packed file with .Rar extension. The content in the archive should be extracted and uncompressed from the RAR file to be able to read it, in this step Winrar can interfere and do its job.
