Two new smartphones LG Optimus L5 and Optimus 4X HD have been launched in India with a price tag of Rs.12,500 and Rs.34,900. Both the smartphones are Android v4.0(ICS) based, but the LG Optimus L5 is a dual-SIM Mid-Range phone.
The new LG Optimus 4x HD features 4.7 inch True HD IPS Panel Touchscreen display with 1280 x 720 pixel native resolution, running android v4.0(ICS) with Optimus 3.0 UI and 1.2Ghz Nvidia Tegra processor with a low power GeForce graphics chip. It has1GB RAM and 16GB inbuilt memory. The rear camera is 8 MP Autofocus camera with LED flash which is also capable of recording 1080p HD videos at 30 fps and front camera of 1.3MP for video calling. It includes all the connectivity features like GPS with a-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, accelerometer, gyroscopic sensor, stereo FM with RDS, WiFi Direct, and DLNA compliance. It has 2150 mAh battery which give talktime of 9.5Hours on 3G.
The mid-range LG Optimus L5 features a 4.0 Inch touchscreen but disappointing the resolution which is 320x480 pixel resolution, running android v4.0(ICS) with Optimus 3.0 UI and an 800Mhz cortex processor A5 based Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM7225A mobile processor. It has 512MB RAM and 4GB Inbuilt memory. The rear Camera is 5MP and it comes with 1500mAh battery which offers talktime worth 9.2Hours.
