Samsung Omnia M available in India via Snapdeal at Rs. 17,990

 Samsung's Windows Phone 7.5-based Omnia M smartphone is now available in India via online shopping site Snapdeal. The Samsung Omnia M has been priced at Rs. 17,990.

Samsung had unveiled the Omnia M in May this year and is supposed to take on Nokia's Windows Phone-based Lumia phones. The design of the Omnia M is reminiscent of its predecessor, the Omnia 7, except that the Omnia M does not have physical Windows home button. There's no word on whether the Omnia M will be updated to the latest Windows Phone 8 OS.



The Samsung Omnia M is powered by a 1GHz processor and features a 5MP auto-focus camera with LED flash and a VGA front facing camera. For connectivity, the Omnia M supports 3G HSDPA 7.2 Mbps, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v 2.1, aGPS / Bing Map, and USB 2.0. It has 384MB of RAM along with 4GB of built-in storage. The Omnia M comes with a 1,500 mAh Li-on battery.

The device comes preloaded with various apps such as Marketplace, Internet Explorer 9, Sky Drive, Bing Maps, Facebook, LinkedIn and XboxLive. Also, the device has Samsung's exclusive apps like ChatOn messenger, Tango, Now, RSS Times, Photo Studio, Mini Diary, Fun Shot, Tango and All Share.
