Vodafone Blue -The Facebook Phone Now for Rs. 2100

Leading Mobile service provider, Vodafone India has reduced the price of its flagship Vodafone Blue – the Facebook phone from Rs. 3795 to Rs. 2100.

Vodafone Blue handset was launched in India on September 6th, 2011 for Rs. 4950 with bundled offer of Unlimited free access to Facebook for one year, later price were reduced to Rs. 3795 (without Facebook offer). The handset is developed in collaboration with Facebook and Alcatel that has the qualities of a smartphone and deep integration of social networking functions.

Idea Cellular and Vodafone Introduces SMS Browser For its Subscribers

XL Telecom Pvt. Ltd has tied up with Idea Cellular and Vodafone India to launch their revolutionary SMS Browser.

The mXLBrowser is an SMS-based App Platform that provides a sophisticated GUI for access to a variety of apps which the user would otherwise have been deprived of, due to handset limitations the application allows seamless service updates over SMS, without the need for access to GPRS.

The various services can be availed for a nominal fee of as low as 10 paisa per request and support pull as well as push (subscription) models. The mXLBrowser is currently supported on nearly 280 popular handset models and more handsets are being added daily.

Vodafone Launches Unlimited International Roaming Pack

Vodafone India, one of India’s leading telecommunications service providers, today launched an attractive international roaming pack for its customers in India that will make International Roaming Free and at affordable price.

According to the press release, customers traveling to multiple countries can avail of this new single pack on one number and one-time rental, making international roaming a worry-free and cost effective experience. The offer is activated on a minimal one-time rental fee of Rs.1,499 valid for 30 days, the rental for which will be charged in the customer’s bill. The biggest thing is that there is no limit on the usage of this pack.

Vodafone introduced new 3G plans yesterday to beat the competition. As a week earlier, every operator slashed the prices of their 3G packs by 70% now Vodafone to make it more affordable to users. So Vodafone users cheer up!!

The data plan starts from Rs. 25 for 25 MB data usage and go up to Rs. 1599 for 12 GB of data usage. For any usage beyond the stipulated data usage on each plan, the customers will be charged at the rate of 2p/10kb.
