Micromax A25 Smarty - Cheapest Android Phone
The new Micromax A25 (also known as Micromax Smarty ) is a 2.8-inch touchscreen mobile phone. It is the cheapest price Android mobile loaded with the older version of the Android OS. Such phones are expected to bring down feature phones prices as anyone will prefer a smartphone in comparison to a feature-phone at the same price range. It does not support 3G connectivity but sports Wireless LAN connectivity.
MTNL Launches Tablet Plan for Rs. 800, Offers 10 GB 3G Data for 60 Days
In an endeavor to provide affordable and dedicated 3G Data service over Tablet Devices like Apple iPad, Samsung Galaxy Tab, Micromax Fun Book, and all other low cost Tablets available in the market, Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL) today announced the launch of Special Tablet Data Plan SIM Kit for Prepaid customers in Delhi circle for Rs. 800.
MTNL 3G Data plan SIM Kit for Tablet PCs will be available for Rs. 800, offers 3G Data usage up to 10 GB valid for 60 Days (2 months) from the date of recharge or activation plus 20 minutes free Voice and Video calls. The data of 10 GB will be given through special Tablet Plan SIM Kit only and no STV will be issued.

BSNL To Provide Satellite Phone Connectivity To 37000 Villages Which are Yet to be Connected With Mobile Services
India’s National Telecom back bone Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) is ready to provide connectivity to uncovered 37000 villages through Digital Satellite Phone Terminal (DSPT) technology and the technically feasible villages are expected to be provided with VPT facility by 31st March, 2013.
The progress and the changes in telecom have been astronomical, with new and cheaper wireless and mobile technologies taking birth almost each year. With an addition of approx 18 million subscribers every month and contributing to nearly 2% of the Indian GDP, Indian telecom industry is considered to be the largest telecom markets of the world.
But still about 37,000 villages in India are yet to be connected with mobile connectivity as per the analysis carried out by CDOT (Centre for Development of Telematics) and nun of private operator much interested to expand their telecom/mobile services in remote and rural or commercially not profitable areas.
