LG announces V-Series Cloud Monitors with Teradici Tera2 Chipset
LG Electronics today unveiled its next-generation Teradici Tera2 chipset-powered V-Series zero client cloud monitor called the CAV42, putting it at the head of cloud computing performance.
“The V-Series represents the next generation in LG’s expanding range of cloud monitors,” said J.J. Lee, Executive Vice President and Head of the IT Business Unit of LG Home Entertainment Company. “The V-Series employs the Teradici Tera2 chipset to enhance the features offered by its predecessor. The V-Series provides better picture quality than previous models and is an ideal solution for any company or large organization.”

LG launches 'Smartphone Idea Camp' Prizes worth Rs.15,00,000
LG Electronics has recently launched a campaign
called ‘Smartphone Idea Camp’. This campaign is a way to connect with
their fans and it falls under the ‘consumers connect’ initiative and
would be conducted online. During this campaign, LG will invite
consumers to submit unique apps, features, concepts, services, designs
and UI ideas that they want to be featured in their handsets. The best
ideas will be incorporated in LG’s future smartphone line-up and also
win a prize value of Rs. 15,00,000.
The 2-month long campaign, which started on the 1st of August helps in encouraging tech enthusiasts to share their innovative app feature concept, service, design, UI ideas on www.lg.com/in/smartphoneideacamp.jsp. The contest will be open to all Indian residents, and the entries would be evaluated on the basis of imagination, creativity and utility.

LG Unveils L7 Mid-Range Smartphone
The L series of handsets have been designed keeping style in mind as it features five elements that LG states will help it stand apart from the competition. LG explains that these five elements comprise of a modern square style for a comfortable grip, floating mass technology for a slimmer look, a seamless layout, a harmonized design contrast and sensuous slim shape.

LG Optimus 4X HD and L5 to be Launched in India Next Week
LG is preparing to launch its first quad core smartphone - Optimus 4X HD with 720p HD display in India.
LG will launch two new smartphones running Google Android mobile operating system in India next week. LG India is expected to launch the new Optimus L5 and Optimus 4X HD smartphones with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update. The Optimus L5 is a mid-range device in the L series and it makes the welcome transition to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS). It also features a 4-inch screen, advertized to offer “enhanced readability” which should hint to a decent resolution while Optimus 4X HD is a high end device with a 720p HD display. The company already offers Optimus L7 and L3 in India.
