Gundello Godari is a bilingual film, which is released in Tamil as Maranthen Mannithen. The movie is directed by Kumar Nagendra and produced by Lakshmi Manchu.

Meanwhile, Tapsee, who is playing the female lead in the film, has also shared her excitement about the trailer of Gundello Godari. The much-hyped Telugu movie Gundello Godari revolves around two love stories, set in the backdrop of the 1986 Godavari floods. Gundello Godari depicts the destruction and pain caused by the Godavari floods that year. The film features Aadhi, Sandeep, Lakshmi and Tapsee in the lead roles. Ilayaraja is composing the music for the film, which will release in the last week of August.
